Learn about the default layer

An important concept in Covram is the default layer. When a new boundary is created in Covram, it needs to be saved somewhere. This is the purpose of the default layer. If no default layer is present when a boundary is saved, one will be created.

For simple use cases having a single default layer may be sufficient, however for more advanced use cases it may be necessary to change the default layer.
