What are visits?
A visit is a record of what you observed or did at a site on a particular occasion. Within a visit you complete one or more activities, such as a vegetation assessment, water quality reading, weed control, fencing, planting or seed collection.
Each visit belongs to a site, and one site can have many visits. Returning to the same site and recording another visit lets you monitor change over time.
Add Inspection button and the Previous Inspections list. An inspection is the same thing as a visit, and so are the older records you may see. Earlier versions of Covram also offered Quick and Detailed Inspections. These records are still available, but new work now starts from the Activity button. How activities are chosen
You choose what to record by selecting themes and issues for your site. Covram then shows only the forms for the activities relevant to your selection, so you don't need to work through fields that don't apply. A single visit can include several activities.
Visits and photopoints
A photopoint is a fixed location you photograph repeatedly. Each new visit needs at least one photo, which can come from a new photopoint or a link to an existing one.
