Importing layers

Layers can only be imported using the Covram web app.

To import a new map layer follow the steps below:

1. Sign in to the Covram web app in your web browser using your laptop or desktop computer and your registered email and password. This should open the Projects page.
2. Click on any existing project from the sidebar menu at the left of the screen. A number of options should appear below the project name. To open the layers page click the Edit Layers option.
3. A list of layers should appear. Click on the following button: Import Layer File
4. A popup will appear. Click within the file selection field and select an existing KML or Shapefile exported from your GIS software. Click Upload to start importing the file into Covram.
5. The new layer should now appear in the layers list. To view the new map layer in your project click on the project name in the breadcrumb, or the View Map option in the sidebar. Note that there are slight differences in how KML and Shapefiles are formatted. If you run into problems please email support@covram.com.au for assistance and we would be happy to help.
