Viewing Boundaries

Learn how to view an existing boundary

Boundaries are represented by polygons in Covram. Each boundary has a solid outline which is shaded inside. Existing boundaries can be viewed using the Covram Field App or Covram Dashboard.

Using the Covram Field App

To view an existing boundary using the Covram Field App follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Covram Field App on your device. A map should appear with a blue marker indicating your current location. If you instead see a list of projects, tap on any project with an existing boundary to enter the map view.
  2. Zoom in or out to locate the existing boundary. To zoom out pinch the screen with two fingers, to zoom in stretch the screen with two fingers. Tap inside the boundary to highlight, and display the area inside the boundary in hectares.
By default site boundaries will appear blue, however they can be customised to any colour. You may need to zoom out for any markers to be visible.

Using the Covram Dashboard

To view an existing boundary using the Covram Dashboard follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to the Covram Dashboard in your web browser using your laptop or desktop computer and your registered email and password.
  2. Open the Projects page.
  3. Click on any project with an existing boundary. This will open the project map view page.
  4. Zoom in or out to locate the existing boundary. Tap within the boundary to highlight, and display the area inside the boundary in hectares.
The zoom buttons are located in the bottom right of the screen. Alternatively, you can zoom in by double clicking on the map or scrolling your mouse wheel (if available).
