Taking a photopoint

To take a new photopoint:

  1. Open the Covram mobile app on your device. A map should appear with a blue marker indicating your current location. If you can see a list of projects, tap on any project to enter the map view.
  2. Tap the + Add button in the bottom right corner.
  3. Tap the Photopoint button from the list which appears.
  4. Tap Allow or Accept if the app requests access to your camera.
  5. Take a photo using your device and accept the image when prompted.
  6. Enter a label and relevant tag/s for the image when prompted and tap Ok.
The label entered should be unique, and descriptive enough to remind you of why the photo was taken. A good rule is to include the reason for the photo and the location (if applicable). For example Kikuyu Invasion Site 14. Tags allow photopoints to be filtered in the web app. This will become more important as the number of photopoints in a project grows.
